Daily power check for staff

A quick routine each shift keeps false offline reports down:

Rail switch is on
Each heater's power LEDs are lit

Leave heaters seated overnight so they stay online.

Don't

Unplug heaters overnight. It causes false offline reports the next day.

How often to clean

Perform basic cleaning and inspection every 2 to 3 months, or more often in dusty or heavily used spots.

Disconnect power and let the heater cool completely before touching any part of it.

Cleaning procedure

Wipe the exterior

Use a soft, dry cloth on the outside surfaces. Don't use harsh chemicals, abrasives, solvents, or water on any part of the exterior.

Clear the grille

If dust or debris is visible inside the grille or on the reflector, gently blow it out with canned compressed air.

Use canned compressed air for dust inside the grille.

Don't

Spray water or use a pressure washer or air compressor. Both damage sensitive parts.

Do not open or disassemble the heater beyond what’s described here, and never spray water or cleaning liquid into the grille or onto heating components.

Damage & malfunction

Stop using the heater and contact Focal Support right away if you see any of these:

Physical damage to the housing or grille
Burned, frayed, or damaged power cord or plug
Unusual odors or sounds during operation
Any other visible or suspected electrical or heating damage

Do not operate a heater that shows any sign of damage. Doing so may result in electrical hazards or fire.

If a heater won’t turn on or won’t respond to the app but shows none of the damage above, start with Troubleshooting. Most cases come down to a heater that needs re-seating.

Service & support

The heater has no user-serviceable parts. All service beyond basic cleaning must be done by Focal-authorized personnel.

To report a malfunction, contact Focal Support with a photo of the heater’s QR code or serial number and a description of the problem.
